A Z-type elevator designed for gentle vertical and horizontal transfer of granular products within a processing plant.

Intended Use

The Pendulum Bucket Elevator is used for very gentle vertical conveying of all types of granular products. It is particularly suitable for the seed industry. It also handles long horizontal conveying distances, allowing it to replace a combination of a belt conveyor and a conventional bucket elevator.

Technical Specifications

  • Pendulum-bucket Z elevators can be manufactured in AISI 304, AISI 430, galvanized, or painted finishes according to the application and customer requirements.
  • Dust collection trays (bottom drawers) are provided beneath the elevator.
  • The elevator uses certified food-grade plastic buckets.
  • The chains are heat-treated in accordance with applicable standards.
  • AISI 304 stainless steel is used in the sprocket system.
  • The standard Z elevator has one product inlet and one discharge outlet.
  • Pendulum-bucket Z elevators can be manufactured with horizontal and vertical lengths to the required dimensions.
  • The 90° vertical conveying design provides an effective solution for plants with limited space.
  • One or more additional product feeding points can be installed on the Z elevator (optional).
